It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, James Paul Fadel. Born and raised in Brooklyn by Alfred and Laurice Fadel and attended Xaverian High School before earning his MBA from Pace University. He loved his career as a banker and went on to become a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, dividing his time between New York and London, where he ultimately settled and raised his three beautiful and deeply loved children, Mia, Nico, and Jack.
Jim enjoyed life and its blessings to the absolute fullest. A passionate golfer, competitive tennis player, avid poker player, crossword enthusiast, and cigar aficionado, he could most often be found sipping on a Starbucks Americano. While those are just a few of his interests, his true passion was traveling and sharing incredible experiences all across the globe with his family and friends. Beyond his children, his true legacy was his innate ability to uplift and mentor those around him, both personally and professionally. He was an incredibly calming presence to all he came in contact with. Jim was steadfast in his belief that the best aspects of life are delivered through the happiness that we bestow onto others.
Jim is survived by his three children, Mia, Nico and Jack; wife, Yurim; sister, Victoria; brother, John; brothers-in-law, Thomas, David and Gordon; nephews, Alexander and Andrew; and niece, Meredith. He is, and always will be, forever in our hearts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in honor of Jim’s memory: Cure Children’s Cancer
