Cesar M. Ortiz Acosta, 90, of Houston, Texas, passed away on January 8, 2026. He was born on February 21, 1935 in Palau, Coahuila and lived a life defined by faith, love, hard work and family.

 

He was a devoted husband, father of 6 children, grandfather to 15 grandchildren and great grandfather to 7 great grandchildren with two more on the way. He was a man of Christian faith and integrity; known for his strong work ethic, loyalty and love for his family. Throughout his life he embraced his responsibilities with pride and purpose. He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication and the steady presence he provided for those he loved. His legacy lives on through the values he instilled and lessons he taught of strength and resilience. His family will forever carry his memory and honor the life he lived.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 12, 2026 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas.
    

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 at 11:00 am at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home - Central.

 

Committal Service will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

César M. Ortiz Acosta, de 90 años, residente de Houston, Texas, falleció el 8 de enero de 2026. Nació el 21 de febrero de 1935 en Palau, Coahuila, y vivió una vida definida por la fe, el amor, el trabajo  y la familia.

Fue un esposo devoto, padre de seis hijos, abuelo de quince nietos y bisabuelo de siete bisnietos, con dos más en camino. Fue un hombre de fe cristiana e integridad, conocido por su fuerte ética de trabajo, su lealtad y su amor incondicional por su familia. A lo largo de su vida, asumió sus responsabilidades con orgullo y propósito. Será recordado por su bondad, dedicación y la presencia firme que brindó a quienes amó. Su legado vive a través de los valores que inculcó y las lecciones de fortaleza y resiliencia que enseñó. Su familia llevará por siempre su memoria y honrará la vida que vivió.

El servicio fúnebre se realizará el lunes 12 de enero de 2026, a las 11:00 a. m., en la Funeraria Felix H. Morales - Central.


El sepelio se llevará a cabo posteriormente en el Cementerio Houston Memorial Gardens.
