Edith Carringer, 88 of the Cochrans Creek Community of Robbinsville, NC went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Graham Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

          She was a native of Graham County and the daughter of the late Roy and Zetta Shope Jones.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lorene Walker.

          She is survived by her husband, Lowell Carringer; her sister, Wanda Brooks (Marvin) of Robbinsville, NC; niece, Pam Aderhold (Roy) and nephews, Jimmy Walker, Mark Brooks, and Matt Brooks.

          Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 12, 2026, at Santeetlah Baptist Church.  Reverend William Wayne Adams will officiate.  Burial will follow the service at Santeetlah Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 pm Monday at the Church prior to the service.
