Michael (Sid) Pardue passed away peacefully surrounded by loved one on Thursday January 8th at the Hospice House in Bloomington, IN. He was born in Bloomington on May 8, 1953, to parents Walter and Dorothy.
Sid never met a stranger. He was always ready and willing to have a conversation with anyone, wherever it may be. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandkids, where he was formally known as Papaw Bike. He was an avid Harley rider, in love with his Road King Classic, riding hundreds of miles across the country. He loved all kinds of sports, especially going to OV football games. He was employed for many years at Machango Construction remodeling homes, putting his special gift and talent into everything he touched. His lifelong vision was to own a log cabin, and he was able to fulfill his dream alongside his family in only a couple of years. He loved working on that home and creating the vision he imagined for so long. The last 3 years of his life he enjoyed playing with his kitty, Sissy, throwing springs and watching her roll over.
