Brooksville-Henry Moorhead, 101, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026. He was born on August 3, 1924 to the late Harvey C. “H.C.” and Nancy (Stagg) Moorhead. He was a member of Brooksville Methodist Church. He was the past President, CEO, and director of First National Bank from 1940-1996. He was also president of Brooksville Cemetery and a member of Brooksville Lions Club. He was married to Cynthia (Barnes) Moorhead whom he married December 25, 1946. He is survived by his children, Dr. BJ (Nalva) Moorhead of Flemingsburg, KY and Millie (Mike) Woolwine of Ft. Wright, KY; two grandchildren, Ben Woolwine and Bobby (Audra) Woolwine; and two great grandchildren, Jack Woolwine and Nora Woolwine. He was preceded in death by his son, Henry Barnes Moorhead; two sisters, Jane Norris and Carolyn Taylor; and his brother, John Moorhead. Funeral will be 1 pm on Thursday, January 15 at Brooksville Methodist Church. Burial will be at Brooksville Cemetery. Visitation will precede the funeral from 11 am - 1 pm on Thursday at the church.
