Jimmy Wade Parks age 67 of Lenoir City - Better known as Tex met his Heavenly Savior on January 8, 2026. He was born March 6, 1958 to Carson Parks and Bea Goodwyn Parks in Port Arthur, Texas. Tex was known as Hillbilly Tex to his Trucker Friends all over the U.S. He was also known as the neighborhood watch to his friends and neighbors around Pike and Bon Street. After moving to Lenoir City in 2015, he was known as Brother and Cuz to his Extended Family that was close as blood.
Preceded in death by his parents, Carson Parks and Bea Goodwyn Parks, and granddaughter, Karsyn Rae Parks.
Tex leaves behind his children and spouses: Jesse and Carmen Parks of Oklahoma, Samantha and Morgan Jeans all of Oklahoma, Jimmy and Courtney Parks of Carthage, Texas; grandchildren: Ryder, Jorryn and Jadyn Parks, Allyn and Summer Jeans, Jude, Kable and Lane Parks; brother, Edward Parks and wife, Donette and their family along with extended and hand picked family of Lenoir City: Donald (Little Brother) and Sandra (Little Sister) Pace and family, Kay (Baby Sister) Arnwine and family, and Jason Smith who was like a son and his wife, Kaylee, and special friend, Teresa Sepaugh (Ms. T) of Carthage, Texas.
He will be Truly Missed!
