Jo Ann Kearns, 88, of Bowling Green died January 8, 2026 from Acute Leukemia at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky. She was born to the late Raymond and Ella Sue Florence of Bourbon County, Kentucky on August 2, 1937.

  Jo Ann retired as the Indirect Lending Manager for Service One Credit Union. In addition to her half century in the banking industry while raising four children, she was a longstanding, devout member of Eastwood Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and many “Prime Timers” trips across Kentucky and the Southeastern United States. She also loved her many dogs and cats, especially her Kentucky Wildcats Basketball team.

  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Billy Weaver and her daughter-in-law, Barbara Kearns. She is survived by her sister, Sue Weaver; son, Jeff Kearns of Alvaton; daughter, Sharon Becker (Gary) of Blairsville, GA; sons, Patrick Kearns (Wesley) of Pulaski, VA and Dan Kearns of Bowling Green; granddaughters, Kasey Davis (Richard) and Kaitie Becker (Rob); grandsons, Andrew Becker and Michael Becker; and her great granddaughter, Stella Davis.

  She will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Battle Grove Cemetery in Cynthiana, Kentucky, with a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a memorial contribution be made to the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Arrangements have been entrusted to the J. C. Kirby & Son Broadway Chapel.
