January 2, 1988 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
January 3, 2026 – Calgary, Alberta
Stacey Jodouin of Calgary, AB, passed away, following a brief illness, on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
Stacey was born in Saskatoon, SK, on January 2, 1988. She moved to Calgary, AB, to attend Mount Royal University, where she graduated with a degree in psychology.
She worked for the Children’s Cottage Society following her graduation as the Data Systems Coordinator. Her work supported every program area, and her contributions played an important role in strengthening the systems and services that support the children and families they serve.
She was known for her expertise, kindness, and humour. She was always ready to go above and beyond to support her colleagues and their clients. She left a rich legacy by helping to create the new Child & Family Centre and by improving the lives of thousands of families and children over the years. They described her as “the resident expert, the gentle data educator, and the one who faced and overcame countless challenges on their behalf.”
She had an infectious laugh that could light up a room and a presence that made people feel seen, heard, and at ease. She had a way of always seeing the best in people and brought joy and laughter to so many lives. She listened, she cared, and she showed up selflessly for those around her.
Stacey was dedicated to her family, friends, and her puppy, Zoe. She had a large circle of friends, as everyone she met became a friend. We are heartbroken but treasure the memories and the gift of having had her in our lives.
Stacey is survived by her parents, Florence Wagner (John Reilly) and James Jodouin; her brothers, Matt (Anna), Sean (Elena), and Bill (Felecia); her sisters, Kara (Vili) and Colleen (Brad); and her nieces and nephews, Ezra, Wren, Talassa, Elias, Neko, Alma, Evan, Danny, Maesie, and Cooper.
