Kevin Eric Smith of Furlong, PA passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026 in the Liberty Pointe Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Doylestown, PA after a long battle with colon cancer. He was 60 years old.

Born on May 3,1965 in Summit, NJ to the late Walter and Judith (Hoch) Smith, Kevin resided in Warrington and Jamison, PA before moving to Furlong, PA.

He graduated in 1983 from Covina High School of Covina, CA as class Valedictorian and was voted most likely to succeed in his class.

Kevin graduated from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, CA with a 5-year professional degree in architecture.

He was formerly employed with Veritas Medical Sales in Harleysville, PA and BSB Design in Warminster, PA. Kevin currently worked as an architect with Stampfl Associates, LLC in Doylestown, PA since 2017. He knew he wanted to be an architect from the age of 6 and made his dream into a reality. Kevin also established a scholarship with MBIT (Middle Bucks Institute of Technology) through Stampfl Associates, LLC.

He enjoyed playing the drums, golfing, family vacations and adventures, and was an avid Eagles and Beatles fan. Kevin was a member of LeTip of Doylestown and assisted many local businesses with his architectural skills.

He was the husband of Rosemarie Lynn Kurz-Smith; devoted father of Ryan Justin Smith (Winnie) and Shae Atlas Smith; dear brother of Tracey Berry (Bruce) and Jennifer Towsey (David); loving uncle of Brian and Elizabeth Towsey, Scott Berry (Heather), Greg and Chris Elgart; cherished grand uncle of Melody Berry; kind nephew of Mary DuRoss and her daughters Molly Slack, Debbie DuRoss, and Amy DuRoss Vega; good cousin of Linda, Michael, Keith, Kelly Ann, and Bobby Kennedy.

The family will receive their friends at the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 320 E. Swamp Road, Doylestown, PA 18901 on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 9:30-10:45 am, with a celebration of life to begin at 11:00 am.

Private cremation will follow.
