Rickey E. Coburn , 73, of Reno, PA., passed away on Thursday Jan. 8, 2026 at the Collins Hospice House with his daughter by his side.

            Born Dec. 17, 1952 in Oil City, PA., he was the son of the late Harvey and Margaret Williams Coburn.

Rickey had worked at Electralloy, a refuse company and for McNerney’s.

He enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and hanging out with friends.

He was always willing to help others and walked everywhere he went.

Rickey enjoyed sitting in the garage and watching all the traffic on the four lanes.

He is survived by his daughter

Three grandchildren

Joeph Flinchbaugh Jr.

Meghan Flinchbaugh and her significant other Jayson

Hope Flinchbaugh

He is also survived by his siblings

Larry Bell of Oil City

Debra Myers and her husband Rick of Reno

Sherry Hoovler of Oil City

Janet Coburn of OK.

Ginger Coburn and her significant other John Kay of Oil City

And by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Rickey Coburn Jr., brothers Gary and Tracy “Scotty” Coburn, brothers-in law Boyd Goughler and Charlie Hoovler and a nephew Ricky Myers.

Friends will be received from 2-4  P.M. Monday in the Reinsel Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 4 P.M. in the funeral Home with Pastor Greg Dill, VNA Hospice Chaplain, Presiding.

The Reinsel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
