David Wilkie Sears of Granite Falls passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Frye Regional Medical Center, Hickory.
Born September 15, 1960, in Caldwell County, he was the son of the late Gene Wilkie Sears and Addie Reid Sears.
He is survived by his siter Cindy Sears of Granite Falls, and brother Kevin Sears of Granite Falls; nephew Joey Sears; niece Lisa Shuffler; and great niece Maykla Arnette.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Methodist Church, Granite Falls, with Rev. Simon Chigumira and Rev. Eric Lane officiating.
