Patricia McTigue of West Nyack entered eternal rest on January 9, 2026, and was joyfully reunited in Heaven with the love of her life, her husband Jimmy.
Born in the Bronx to Eugene and Mary McMahon, Patricia—known to all as Pat—married her beloved Jimmy in 1955. Together they raised three daughters, Colleen, Debra, and Susan. In 1961, Pat and Jimmy moved from the Bronx to West Nyack, New York, where they made their home and built a life filled with family, faith, and friendship.
Pat was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, mother-in-law, aunt, and friend. Her life was firmly rooted in her Catholic faith, and she was a faithful parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church in Nanuet from 1961 onward. Pat worked for Clarkstown Food Service for 19 years before continuing her career with Rockland BOCES for an additional 15 years.
Pat and Jimmy’s home was always a welcoming place, especially for family visiting from the Bronx and from across the pond in Ireland. Their house was a gathering place filled with laughter, swimming, meaningful conversations, and plenty of delicious food. In addition to their three daughters, Pat and Jimmy were blessed with two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, and two great-grandsons. Pat’s warm smile and kindness touched everyone she met.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, bowling, watching the Yankees, listening to the radio—especially Kenny Rogers—and taking family trips to Disney. Her all-time favorite simple pleasure was a nice cup of tea. Pat and Jimmy also shared a love of travel, journeying together throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Chile, and Brazil. They kayaked in Alaska and enjoyed countless cruises around the world.
Pat was a proud member of the Columbiettes, where she served as Treasurer for many years. After retiring, she continued her love of travel with the West Nyack II Senior Club. Family vacations remained a cherished tradition and continued for many years.
Pat is survived by her daughters Colleen (Tom) Colaluca, Debra Lannon, and Susan Buck; her granddaughters Katie (Jose) and Jamie (Jeff); her great-granddaughter Cali (11); and her great-grandsons Antonio (6) and Ace (3). She is also survived by her sister Loretta Molloy, her beloved grand-doggies Yogi, Iggy, and Honey, and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
She was predeceased by her husband James; her parents Eugene and Mary McMahon; her sisters Kathleen McMahon and Joan McGuinness; her sons-in-law James Lannon and Jonathan Buck; her brother-in-law Richard Molloy; her nephew James McGuinness; and her cherished grand pups Roscoe, Mickey, and Jagger.
Our world will be quieter without our beloved Momma, but in our hearts we find comfort knowing she is once again reunited with our dad Jimmy and so many loved ones who went before her.
