Antonio Maurice Coley was born Thursday, January 29, 1976 to Florine Coley and
the late Joe Lewis Daniels in Edgecombe County. He transitioned into eternal rest on
Monday, January 05, 2026 at UNC Nash Hospital of Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
Maurice received his education in the Edgecombe County Public Systems and later
graduated from North Edgecombe High School in 1997.

Maurice was highly skilled and could manage almost any
task that was presented to him. If you know the Coley’s, Plumbing, Landscaping,
Mechanics and Carpentry are just some skills they are known for. He had an
outstanding interest in older model cars & trucks.

Maurice, along with his beloved farther preceded in death by his maternal grandparents,
Percy & Emma Coley; paternal grandmother, Lizzie Daniels; one sister, Anita Coley
and one brother, Micheal Coley.

Maurice leaves to cherish his precious memories to his wife, Susie Eley Coley of
Tarboro, NC.; one daughter, Zakira Brody of Rocky Mount, NC.; his mother, Florine
Coley; two sisters, Jessica (Brannon) Godette of Wendell, North Carolina and Tomeco
Mitchelle Williams of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; one brother, Curtis Nicholson of
Rocky Mount, North Carolina, two aunts, Lucille Tillery & Carolyn Mitchell of Rocky
Mount, North Carolina; two uncles, James Coley & Timothy Coley of Rocky Mount,
North Carolina and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends.
