Albert D. Ventura, age 72, of Lockport, NY, passed away peacefully at home, under the care of Niagara Hospice, on January 8, 2026. 

Born in Lockport, NY on September 30, 1953, Albert was the son of Albert L. and Anna (Menna) Ventura.

Al is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Charlott (Covey) Ventura; his daughters, Amanda (James) Criddle and Andrea (Nathan) Hugill; and his grandchildren, Allison Gueli, Mia Gueli, Ella Hugill, and Jackson Hugill. He is also survived by his mother, Anna Ventura; his siblings, Nancy (James) Calos and Daniel (Sandra) Ventura; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Albert L. Ventura.

Al spent his career in sales, working in furniture and automotive sales, and retired from DeLacy Ford in 2009. He enjoyed sharing his love of music with his family, especially the songs of Dean Martin, Elvis Presley, and Burton Cummings. Growing up, Al could often be found at Grossi Park. He played baseball and football and he grew to be an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and the New York Yankees. Family meant everything to Al. He loved spending time with his family and his buddy, Shadow.

Friends may call on Monday, January 12th, from 4 to 7 at Prudden and Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee Street, Lockport.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 13th at 10am at All Saints Parish, 76 Church Street, Lockport.  Interment will be held at Hartland Central Cemetery.
