lovingly remembered for her warm heart and unwavering devotion to her family. Margaret was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will always be remembered for the joy she found in spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She was selfless by nature, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Margaret grew up in Avalon, where she attended and graduated from Avalon High School. During her school years, she proudly played basketball an early reflection of her lifelong love for sports. She remained an avid basketball fan throughout her life and was known to cheer enthusiastically for her favorite teams.
Family was everything to Margaret. She especially cherished time spent watching over her grandchildren and creating memories with them. Her favorite number was 17, her favorite color was yellow, and her vibrant personality shone through in everything she did. She loved playing bingo, going to the casino, dancing especially to cumbias. Margaret had an infectious energy and was truly an all-around sports fan who brought joy wherever she went.
Margaret was married to her devoted husband, Humberto Aguinaga, for 36 loving years. Together they built a beautiful family rooted in love and togetherness.
She is survived by her husband, Humberto Aguinaga; her children: Pete Anthony Aguinaga, John Angel Aguinaga, Laura Roxanne Moralez (Tony), Humberto Lino Aguinaga (Stacy Lara), Erika Renee Aguinaga, and her cherished grandchildren: Sergio, Jordan, Nevaeh, Destiny, John, Damien, Ramiro, Bibiana, Nathan, Amanda, Gabriel, Christian, Katelynn, Isabella, Emma, Izzy, and Rebecca.
She is also survived by her siblings: Rebeca Abundia Parra (Jose), Racheal Morales (Alfonso), Domingo Garcia Jr. (Anna), Eva Ruth Garcia (Jose), and Joe Garcia (Kendra), along with many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Domingo and Eva Garcia, and her son, Sergio Aguinaga.
Margaret’s legacy of love, laughter, strength, and family devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
