Carol B. Bromley
1928 - 2026
Carol (Midge) Bromley, 97 of Leon passed away Thursday January 8, 2026. She was born in Hanover, NY. Dec,25, 1928 to the late Levi and Esther (Gay) Palmer of South Dayton.
She was a member of the Leon Firemen’s Auxiliary, a member of the Moose in Randolph, and a previous Election Inspection for the Town of Leon. In earlier years she was a Den Mother for Cub Scouts, a member of the former Drum and Bugle Corp of Leon, and a member of the Pine Valley Saddle Club.
She was secretary for her late husband's business, Bromley's Bulk Milk Service Inc. and was also employed by the National Farmers Organization. She was secretary for Arkwright Brine and Gas Co. Inc. and later employed by Tri County Memorial Hospital in Gowanda, retiring in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bromley, of 67 years. who passed away in June 2014. She is survived by three children, Jeff (Pat) Bromley of South Dayton, Brenda (Tim) Elliot of Leon and Marsha Mora of California; seven grandchildren - Jodi Bromley of South. Dayton, John Bromley of Leon, Sabrina (Carlton) Garris of North Carolina, Ryan (Ruth) Cooper of Kennedy, Megan (Tim) Miess of Randolph, Shawne Mora (Josh Zelman) of California, Nikki (Nicolas) Beck of California, 19 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchild
Besides her husband she was predeceased by her brother, Nelson Palmer of South Dayton, three sisters: Ruth Austin of Cassadaga, Bertha Meyers of South Dayton, and Georgine Mc Bratnie of North Carolina.
Interment will be at Burnham Hollow Cemetery in Arkwright.
Memorials may be made to the Leon Fire Company or Leon’s Fireman Auxiliary.
Private services will be held by the family.
