Mary Anna Gavetti Obituary

On January 3rd, 2026, we had to say goodbye to a beloved member of our family, Mary Anna Gavetti, born July 1st, 1945 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.

Mary was the daughter of the late Arthur and Clara Kober Perdunn, Sister to Joseph, Clara (Sissy) and the late William J., Joan, James,  Douglas, Elizabeth, Irene and William (Billy). Mary had five wonderful children James, Lisa, Kit, Kimberly and the late Marie.
Mary was blessed with eleven grandchildren: Christopher, Bonnie, Jacqueline, Philip, Kerin, Amy, Meggian, Steven, Amber, Corrinne, and Daniel and over joyed with twenty four great grandchildren: Adrianna, Eli, Tessalynn, Emily, Eric Jr, Nyco, Christian, Ismael, Gabriel, Angel, Max, Kenzo, Dream, Jordan, Landon, Jaideen, Lillie, Brayden, Kaidance, Ariella, Coltyn, Brynlee, Skyler, and Damian and so many nieces and nephews who brought her immense joy and love.

Mary had a zest for life and love of the simple pleasures, she could often be found with her nose in a good book, her hands busy with crochet needles, or her voice lifted in song. One of her favorite pastimes was visiting the shore with her family. She loved watching her shows and football. She was always so proud of her grandchildren that made it to the military and often spoke of them with great pleasure.

Although we will miss Mary dearly, we take comfort in knowing that she lived a full and happy life surrounded by those she loved. Her memory will continue to bring us smiles and warmth for years to come.
