Ona Faye Howard, age 77, of Annville, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home. The daughter of the late Conley Isaacs and Ella Neeley, Ona was born April 8, 1948, in Jackson County, Kentucky.
Ona was a longtime member of Bond Holiness Church where she served as youth Sunday School teacher for many years. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Howard, one granddaughter: Brookly Faith Durham, two sisters: Debbie Isaacs and Jeanette Brown and three brothers: Cecil Isaacs, Homer Isaacs and Harold Neeley.
Ona is survived by two sons: Mike Howard of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Kevin (Tonya) Howard of McKee, Kentucky. Four grandchildren: Shawn Durham of Berea, Kentucky, Austin Howard of Nashville, Tennessee, Hannah Howard of Lexington, Kentucky, and Brandon Howard of Bowling Green, Kentucky. Two sisters: Helen Lynch of Dayton, Ohio and Nita Albright of Dayton, Ohio Three brothers: Tony Isaacs and wife Rebecca, Jack Isaacs and wife Cheryl all of Connersville, Indiana, and Stanley Isaacs of McKee, Kentucky.
Ona leaves behind a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home in McKee with Bro. Gary Lee, Kevin Lloyd and John Gabbard officiating. Burial will follow in the Seven Pines Cemetery, with family and friends serving as pallbearers
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour also at Lakes Funeral Home.
