MONROE TOWNSHIP-SHARON YONCAK (née Daley) passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 3, 2026. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed by all who knew her.

Born in Jersey City, to Thomas and Dorothy (née Zengel), she resided in Old Bridge before settling down in Monroe Township few years ago.

Sharon was a truly loving and kind-hearted person. She had a special way of making everyone feel welcome and valued, people were naturally drawn to her warmth, and the room always felt brighter when she was present. She remembered people, cared deeply, and made others feel good simply by being herself.

She struggled with a difficult illness she fought bravely. Though she could not overcome it, she never lost her kind spirit or the love she had for her family.

Sharon was predeceased by her husband, Albert Yoncak; her son, Alexander Yoncak; her parents; her brother, Thomas Daley and his wife, Pat; her brother-in-law, Robert Albrecht; her sister-in-law, Jamie Daley; and her niece, Kelly Daley

Above all else, Sharon loved her children. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who took care of them with unwavering love, strength, and dedication. She leaves behind her children, Scott Yoncak, Kurt Yoncak, and Kerry Yoncak; her daughter-in-law, Abby; her grandchildren, Bronwyn, Anya, Xander, Sawyer, Dakota, Hannah, Braden, and Brett; her great-grandchildren, Jesse and Caden; her siblings, Mary Cox and her husband, Jim, Patsy Albrecht, Roger Daley, and Dorothy “Babe” Daley.

She will be remembered for her goodness, her gentle heart, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, at The BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 14th, at 9:45 am, at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, at St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church in Old Bridge. Cremation will be private. For directions, please see “Events” listed below.
