Dolores Marie Hahn, a beacon of love and laughter, peacefully passed away on January 3, 2026, at the venerable age of 67. She left our world as she lived in it: surrounded by the warmth of her family and the memories of a life well lived. Dolores was born on the 7th of July, 1958, a summer child who blossomed into a radiant spirit, adored by all who knew her.
She is remembered with deep affection by her loving sons, Robbie Dibble of Hubert and Brian Dibble of Mooresville, NC; her doting daughters, Jennifer Giampolo of Greenville, SC, and Brittney Dibble of Hubert, NC. She is also survived by her devoted brother, John Hahn of Hubert; and her cherished sister, Evelyn Allgauer (Karl) of Murrells Inlet, SC. The light of her life, her grandchildren, Alexis Lysyczyn, Autumn Lysyczyn, Aliyah Phillips, along with 3 great-grandchildren, will hold her legacy of love and joy in their hearts forever. A circle of numerous nieces and nephews will also feel the loss of her playful spirit deeply.
Her partner in life, Donald Dibble, who she was married to for over 30 years, her loving parents, Wilbur John Hahn and Mary Hahn, and her brother, Robert Hahn, preceded Dolores in passing. Each of them helped shape the world she created for her family, a legacy that will continue in their absence.
Dolores was the epitome of a homebody with a heart that nurtured. She took immense pleasure in the simple joys of life, reveling in the laughter and happiness of her grandchildren. The courtroom dramas, especially "Judge Judy," were her window to a world of justice and order, which she watched with keen interest and an orator’s engagement. Her grandchildren were known for their pranks and jokes on her, and she loved never missing a chance to elicit a smile or a hearty chuckle. To know Dolores was to know what it means to be cared for, to feel arbitrated in the gentlest and most welcoming of courts.
She was a firm believer in living life in the present, a "go with the flow" person whose adaptive nature ensured that any gathering she attended was imbued with joy and camaraderie. Dolores's carefree outlook was most apparent in her love of "cracking a cold one" now and then, a simple pleasure that she cherished in the company of friends and loved ones.
Dolores's furry companion, her dog Jasmine, stood by her through thick and thin, providing her with constant affection and the kind of nonjudgmental companionship that only a beloved pet can offer.
Loving is the word that encapsulates the essence of Dolores Marie Hahn. She was loving in her actions, loving in her words, and most of all, loving in the way she made each and every person in her life feel cherished and important. She wove a tapestry of love that will drape over her family and friends, keeping them warm with memories and her enduring spirit.
Her playful soul, her laugh that lit up rooms, and her inexhaustible love will be profoundly missed. Dolores's life was a testament to the power of joy, the strength of kinship, and the beauty of embracing each moment. As her family and friends bid her farewell, they take solace in knowing that she leaves this life having made an indelible mark on the hearts of all she encountered.
Her story is not one of finality, but one of everlasting affection and influence that will continue through the generations she has touched.
