Kimberly Ann Cook, 55, of St. Francois County, Missouri, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026, at 12:20 a.m.
Born on October 10, 1970, Kimberly was the daughter of Jasper Louis Cochran and Margaret Etta Price. Kimberly was a unique and unforgettable individual with a larger-than-life personality. She had a gift for humor that could light up any room—turning stories into laughter with her sharp wit and dark comedic timing. Many who knew her said she missed her calling as a stand-up comic, with a style that could rival the greats and leave audiences in stitches.
Above all, Kimberly loved deeply and showed it in her famous bear hugs that made everyone feel truly embraced. She brought fun, great memories, and joy to those around her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Darren Cook; her daughter, Sierra Christine Cook; her son, Darren Jay Cook; and her grandchildren, Halie, Aiden, and Austyn, who were her world. She is also survived by her three sisters and many friends and extended family.
Kimberly will be missed by all who knew her spirited heart.
A celebration of life will be planned in the near future.
