Charles R. Cogswell
Age 72 of Erin, NY. He was born January 7, 1953 in Elmira, the son of Robert D. and Mary E. (Zito) Cogswell and passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 unexpectedly at home. He was predeceased by his father Robert and brother Ira F. Cogswell. He is survived by his mother Mary Fleschner of Van Etten; siblings Eula (Gene) Hammond of Erin, Yoland Overly of Erin, Robert (Mary) Cogswell, Jr. of Millerton, PA, John Cogswell of Lockwood, Gerrie (David) Trussell of San Diego, CA and Thomas Cogswell of Colorado Springs, CO along with several nieces and nephews. Charles was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
