Carolyn Elerson Perritt, 76, died Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Hospice House Satilla.
She was born August 29, 1949, in Waycross, Georgia, to the late Richard Leahmon Elerson and Gladys Foskey Elerson. She worked alongside her husband in the family business, Perritt Tractor Service, where she served as a receptionist. Carolyn enjoyed crafts, older country music, and horses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Monroe Perritt, and two siblings, Wendell Elerson and Harvey Elerson.
She is survived by two children, Thomas “Tommy” Monroe Perritt and Penny Townsend; four grandchildren, Austin Monroe Perritt, Mia Hope Perritt, Kace Ann Perritt, and Virginia Genevive Morong; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
