Linda Elaine Snyder

April 23, 1942 - January 3, 2026

The family wishes to announce the passing of Linda Elaine Snyder, 83, of Bedford County on January 3, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Allen Snyder and Margrett Ellen Scism Snyder. She is also preceded by sons, Timothy Sayers and Wade Sayers; sisters, Barbara Ann Dellinger and Raberta Jean Cheney; niece Alice and daughter, Jessie Zedalis.

Linda is survived by sons, Michael Sayers and wife Rebecca, Mark Sayers, and wife, Tammy M. Todd Sayers and wife, Sharon; grandchildren, Samantha Denise Sayers, Matthew David Sayers, Rachel Maris Curry, Terry Bess Sayers, and Rowan Sayers; Nephews and Nieces; Kenneth Dellinger, wife Geneva Molnar, daughter Maggie Molnar, Kethry and Brenna Dellinger, Joshua Zedalis; great-grandchildren; Presley Holland Barbour, and Ezra Louis Barbour.

Linda loved the outdoors before moving to Bedford to be next to family. She lived a quiet life on her farm in Lewisburg, WV where she loved raising Scottish Highland cattle, goats, horses, and her many dogs. Linda would spend hours on the back deck enjoying the roses from her garden. Linda loved all her fellow members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Lewisburg.

The family would like to give a special thank you to these two ladies, long-time childhood friends, Sandy Nail and Hope Quasebarth for always being by Linda's side. She always spoke highly of them and loved them unconditionally. We appreciate you both for the love and support you showed her in her last days.

Linda will be laid to rest on the farm in the family cemetery in Lewisburg, WV at a later date.
