SUN PRAIRIE - Diane Alice (Larson) Simonson passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1947, to Jone and Alice Larson in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.
Diane was employed by AT&T Wisconsin Telephone, Wisconsin Bell, Ameritech, SBC Communications for 32 years. She retired in 2000 and made it 10 months before she got bored. She then went to work for General Casualty Insurance (QBE) for another 13 years.
She loved animals and was involved with Angel’s Wish for many years.
Diane is survived by her brother, Jeffrey Larson; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jone and Alice Larson; as well as her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hazel and Harry Simonson.
Diane thanks her dear, dear friends and her neighbors for giving her so much enjoyment and compassion in life. She will see you on the other side.
