Benjamin Scott Robertson, 34, of Fort Ashby, passed away at home on Saturday, January 3, 2026.

Born January 5, 1991 in Petersburg, he was the son of Julie J. Robertson of Fort Ashby.

Ben is preceded in death by his grandparents, John “Mooch” and Mabel Mongold and Clyde and Betty Robertson.

Besides his mother, Ben is survived by his brothers, Steven R. Robertson (Philathia) of Berkeley Springs and John T. Robertson (Alexandria) of Berryville; his grandparents, Rick and Betty Jo Robertson of Points; his uncles, Todd R. Robertson (Peggy) of Romney, and Richard C. Robertson of Romney; and by his great aunt, Loretta Mongold of Romney. He is also survived by numerous cousins and his faithful furry companion, Lille.

Ben was a graduate of the West Virginia Schools for the Deaf and the Blind. Although he faced many challenges throughout his life, he always kept a positive attitude and was a truly happy person. He enjoyed playing Bingo, watching movies, and listening to music. Ben was loved by everyone who knew him.

Services for Ben will be privately held.
