Lilly Ann (Boodle) Daniels Obituary

With sadness, we announce the passing of Lilly Ann “Boodle” Daniels, age 87, while inpatient at the Pikeville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pikeville, Kentucky.

Lilly was born on June 13th, 1938, in Majestic, KY, the loving daughter of the late Cecil & Viola (Collie) Daniels.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Thomas Andrew Watson, daughter, Linda Hurley, brothers, Ruddo, Holly, Robert Lee, Jason, James, Albert, John, and Henry, sisters, Zella Christian and Leona Prater, granddaughter, Constance Daniels.

Lilly was a resident of Woodman, Kentucky, where she was a proud Homemaker and took wonderful care of her home.  She was an avid outdoors lady and took great pride in gardening around her home.  She worked all summer preparing her garden goods to can and store for the wintertime.  Lilly also enjoyed riding her four-wheeler and looking for ginseng in the hills.

Lilly is survived by her daughters, Marlene (Willis) Dotson of Freeburn, KY, Josie (Greg) Collins of North Matewan, W.V., and Edith Depriest of Pedro, Ohio.

Lilly was the proud grandmother of Connie Daniels, Alex Dotson, Cheyanne Depriest, Thomas Watson, James Collins, Alisha Collins, and Tiffany Hurley, great grandchildren, Dakota Hurley, Zayden Hurley, Andrew Hurley, and Damien Hurley.

Jamie Ruby Lynn Robinson was loved by Lilly as a granddaughter.

Lilly lived a long, full, and deeply meaningful life – one defined by devotion to her family, strength, hard work and love that was felt by everyone who knew her.
