In Loving Memory of Dolores “Dee” (Picone) Celani

Dolores “Dee” (Picone) Celani, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2026, at the age of 86.

Born on October 20, 1939, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Dolores lived a life centered in faith, love, and devotion to her family. She was known for her quiet strength, kind heart, and gentle spirit, always placing the needs of others before her own. She also had a sharp wit and a sense of humor that brought laughter to everyone around her. Dolores made the best meatballs and gravy, and her lasagna was truly magnifico.

Dolores was a devoted mother and a proud grandmother who loved her grandchildren, Matt (Beth) and Mia, dearly. Her family was the center of her life, and she found great joy in their lives and accomplishments. She was also deeply fond of her nieces and nephews and their families, and spending time with them brought her great happiness. Sharing meals, laughter, and memories with family meant everything to her.

Over the last several years, her daughter Susan spent precious time daily with her mother, providing loving care, showing unwavering dedication, and devoted love.

Dolores shared a loving companionship with Bob Cox, her life partner for the last 30 years. Bob showed unconditional love to Dolores and brought her comfort and joy throughout their life together. He went home to the Lord just two weeks before Dolores.

She is survived by her son Chris and his wife Vicki, her daughter Susan, her sister Arlene, her beloved grandchildren Matt and Mia, and many loving nieces and nephews and their families. She was formerly married to Sonny Celani.

Her family takes comfort in their faith, knowing that Dolores has been reunited in heaven with her angel son, David, and now rests in God’s eternal peace.

Dolores’ Life Celebration will be held at Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Plymouth Meeting at a later date and announced in the near future. Please refer to the funeral home website below for service details.
