In loving memory of Cory D. Henn. Born on February 27, 1985. Cory passed away unexpectedly
at home on January 3, 2026. He is survived by his loving parents Doug and Kathy Henn,
Womelsdorf, PA, his partner Courtney Hertz, Sinking Spring and his sister Monica Henn,
Dumfries, VA, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind his beloved
Goldendoodles Reese and Rowan. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Robert and
Anna Mae Hawk and paternal grandparents Lester and Marion Henn. Cory was a 2004 graduate
of Schuylkill Valley High School.
Cory was interested in sports from a very young age. He started with watching WWE Wrestling
and football as a young boy (he had a lifetime devotion to Notre Dame and the San Francisco
49ers). He became an active athlete soon after developing a love of and skill in snow skiing
which he enjoyed with his family and friends every chance he got. In high school basketball and
golf were his sports of choice. He also competed in MMA Cage Fighting, and while his
participation was brief, it was a time that was special to him.
Cory was dedicated to physical fitness for himself and others. He could be found at the gym
every day not only doing his own workout, but also readily assisting others in safely and
successfully completing their own goals.
However, it was golf that truly became his life. Cory enjoyed playing golf and was extremely
proud of his hole in one on the sixth green at the Berkshire Country Club where he was
employed as the Director of Outdoor Golf Services at the time of his death. Cory began his
career at Berkshire as a caddy at the age of 14 and was employed since 2001 in various positions
before becoming Director of Outdoor Golf Services. He enjoyed his duties at the Country Club,
but most of all he loved interacting with the members and was always willing to help them with
anything they needed.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Berkshire Country Club to be held on Saturday, January
17th from 11:00 -1:00 with formal services beginning at 11:00 am to honor and remember Cory.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Elle’s Angels Foundation, a non-profit close to
his heart as its mission is to advocate and fund research to discover effective treatments for
pediatric brain cancer, with an emphasis on diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG). Elle’s
