Bonnie Kay Belile, 64, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed away on January 3, 2026. Bonnie will be fondly remembered for her love of music and theater; she contributed often to the music program at The Gathering at Scott Memorial, singing in the choir and playing the piano, and participating in musical and theatrical events in the Virginia Beach community. Bonnie was a proud graduate of ECPI, earning her bachelor’s degree in computer science. Bonnie loved the beach and sunsets, treasuring each sunset as unique. Bonnie was a loving mother who lived for her children.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Belile (LCDR, USN, Ret.) and Dorothy Belile, and her grandson, Austin Shipp. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Melody Mount (husband Brent), Myles Shipp (wife Anne Marie), and Matthew Shipp; three grandchildren: Paige, Parker, and Piper Mattice; two siblings: Sandy Carroll (husband Doug), Curtis Belile (wife Lenore), as well as many beloved family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Ashland Nursing and Rehabilitation to honor Bonnie’s memory and in gratitude for their gracious and loving care during her final months.
