Jeffery Lee Allen, 48, of Oakwood, Texas died at home on January 3, 2026. Jeff loved playing video games and watching movies, and he could tell you information on just about any movie. He loved watching football, pro and college, and arguing with his sister Mary about it---especially when watching the Kansas City Chiefs, which he loved. He took pride in helping take care of his mom. He would help her do the cooking and get her nighttime snacks. And whatever point of view you had about something, he was going to have the opposite view, just so he could argue.
Mr. Allen is survived by his son, Jeffery Michael Allen of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his mother, Karen Allen of Oakwood; sister and brother-in law, Bradley and Mary Yancy of Palestine; sister, Rachel Allen of Oakwood; niece, Jessica Yancy of Palestine; and nephew, Zachary Yancy of Palestine.
Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his father, Travis Allen.
Services for Mr. Allen will be held Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2:00 pm at Back to the Bible Church in Oakwood with Pastor Brian Liechty officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Back to the Bible Church or a mental health charity.
