Darryl Thomas Miller, 36, of Knoxville, passed away on January 3,2026. 

Darryl was born on August 14,1989 in Chattanooga, TN toJanice Wright Christian and Anthony Miller. 

A graduate of Oak Ridge High School in 2007, Darryl lettered in tootball and track and began his interest in fitness, health and nutrition. He continued his education at Austin Peay University, while also playing football, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance in 2011. Darryl became an entrepreneur. He owned and operated Millertime Bread LLC, for over 10 years. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, love of family, loyalty and relentless work ethic. 

Darryl also knew Christ, having grown up in Oak Valley Baptist Church in Oak Ridge where he was Baptized by the Rev Hardil Thomas on July 22, 2007. As a member, he served as a Jr. Usher, was active in the youth program which included the "Bridge Ministry", a program where the Youth helped serve meals to the homeless in Knoxville, TN, and was also a proud recipient of Bobby Steele Memorial scholarships during his college years. 

Darryl is survived by his mother Janice Christian (Scottie), father Anthony Miller, brother Jalen Miller(Tamara), daughter Maliyah Miller , grandmother Ruby Miller, nephews Jalen II, Amir, Royal, and Roman; niece- Lyric; Aunts Latasha Miller, Cynthia Wright, Janet Jones (Richard), Jennifer Lankford(Leo), Teneke Thompson; uncles Darryl L. Miller and Jeffrey Wright; cousins, Amanda Martin(Josh),Tevin Springs, Malik and Jordon Hardy, Alegre Whitaker, Anthony Washington, AZ Miller, Kamren McDonald, Tamera Jones(Robert) and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins. Special friends: Kelsie Massengill and her children, Gaston Mitchell, Mark Little. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Henry Thomas Wright, grandfather Horace Miller and grandmother MaryAnn Wright.
