Carole Ann was born on November 1st, 1965 in Hamburg, IA to Teddie and Mary Ann Carter. She graduated from Clear Creek Amana in 1984. She went on to the University of Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in 1988. She joined the family business of Carter Ford and worked there until it was handed over to Junge Ford in 2016.
Carole Ann was united in marriage to Kenny Hebl on May 27, 1989.
Carole Ann played a huge part in the community of Oxford. She was a hard worker and always willing to volunteer for anything. If you want something done, ask a busy person and that was Carole Ann. Most of the time you didn’t even have to ask, she would see what needed done and she would take care of it.
She was known for her kindness. She connected with people everywhere she went and would remember small details about everyone she came across. She loved hosting in her “barn” where no one left hungry or without a drink in hand with Carole Ann around. Even if you didn’t ask for it. She was a true sports mom going to every game cheering loudly. The team and parents always knew where to gather to have fun and support the team. She then turned into a sports grandma cheering on her granddaughters in every sport they played. She loved her kids and grandkids, they were her pride and joy. Her granddaughters never heard the word “no” when they were with Nana.
Carole Ann is survived by her husband of 36 years Kenny, three children Sara Huedepohl (Tyler), Carter Hebl, and Sadie Hebl. Her mother, Mary Ann Carter. Three granddaughters Taylor, Sierra, and Linden Huedepohl. In-laws Lori Wildman, Karen Shemanski (Ricky), and Scott Hebl (Nancy). Nieces and Nephews Shelby Shemanski, Nicole Acheson (Kyle), Kelsey Yansky (Doug), and Tyler Hebl (Kelsie). Great-nieces and nephews Leo and Marly Acheson, Saige and Aspen Yansky, Wrenley and Caden Hebl. Close friends Kandy and Steve Smith and Sherrie Curry and Brett Meade.
She was preceded in death by her father Teddie Carter, in-laws Maynard and Betty Hebl, Marlys Hebl, and Jim Wildman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Carole Ann Hebl memorial fund.
Carole Ann will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
