Robert Paul Clarkin

February 16th, 1967 - January 3rd, 2026

Robert Paul Clarkin, 58, passed away peacefully on January 3rd, 2026, surrounded by the thoughts and prayers of those who loved him.

Born on February 16th, 1967, Robert was a man known for his loyal spirit and his vibrant appreciation for life's best rhythms. A lifelong fan of Elvis Presley, Robert found joy in the classics, and his enthusiasm for the Green Bay Packers was unmatched. Whether it was a Sunday game or a night out with friends, Robert was at his happiest when he was sharing a laugh and a story with his loved ones.

Above all, Robert was a family man. He is survived by his three children, who were his pride and joy: Jamie, Christy, and Ryan. He also leaves behind his two cherished grandchildren, Vincent and Olivia, who will grow up hearing stories of their grandfather's kindness and his love for a good tune.

Robert is also survived by his siblings, Sarah, Sandy, and Matt along with many friends who became like family over the years.

He joins an eternal rest with his parents Ronald and Patricia, and his brothers Mike and Jeff, as well as his nephew Christopher. While the family feels the weight of their losses, they take comfort in knowing Robert is at peace, perhaps finally catching an Elvis show in the front row.

There will be a visitation at 10 AM on January 12th, 2026, at Saint Helena’s Catholic Church located at 3204 E 43rd St. South Minneapolis, followed by an 11 AM Mass, then graveside burial at Resurrection Cemetery located at 2101 Lexington Ave. South Mendota heights. There will be a lunch served back at the church afterwards. In lieu of flowers or donations to the family please send these to Saint Helena Catholic church under the name of Christy Clarkin or Jamie Clarkin.
