Sandra K. Ward, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on January 3, 2026, at the age of 79, in Castle Rock, Colorado. Sandra was born in April 1946 to George and Dolorus Talbot and graduated from South High School in 1964. She later married her high school sweetheart, Gilbert Ward, with whom she shared 42 wonderful years of marriage.
Sandra leaves behind her sister Cathe; her sons Troy and Clint; grandchildren Greg, Ashlie, Devin, and Tyler; and great-grandchildren McKenzie, Matthew, and Nathan.
Sandra was known for her creativity, kindness, and love of life. She found great joy in sewing—especially creating beautiful apparel for her square dance business—and had a passion for decorating, gardening, and the outdoors. Above all, Sandra treasured time with her family, creating memories filled with love and laughter that will be forever cherished.
