Age 84, of Pittsburgh, passed away on January 3, 2026.
Carol was the daughter of the late John A. Ashworth, Sr. and Irene C. Pelles Ashworth. She was preceded in death by her brother, John A. (Jack) Ashworth, Jr. Carol is survived by her daughter, Melanie Serine Russell (John) of Pittsburgh and a granddaughter, Molly Russell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Carol will always be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Per her wishes, all arrangements will be private. Interment at Monongahela Cemetery.
