Lynnette Kay LoPresto Obituary
Lynnette Kay (Derscheid) LoPresto, age 56, of Eagan MN passed away peacefully on January 3rd 2026, surrounded by loving family.
Lynnette was born on June 5th, 1969 in Faribault, MN, the daughter of Phyllis and David Derscheid. She grew up on a family farm with her parents and younger brother Dan. Lynnette loved school, playing piano, and listening to Broadway showtunes.
Lynnette graduated from Kenyon High School, class of 1987, and went on to the University of Minnesota, earning a degree from the College of Pharmacy in 1992.
Lynnette married Vincent LoPresto on August 22, 1992 in Kenyon MN. They first got to know each other in high school German class. Their German skills came in handy for their future travels to Europe together, including their most recent trip to Austria in 2023.
Moving to Eagan, MN in 1993, Lynnette and Vince raised their children, Hannah and Nathan. Lynnette enjoyed planning family vacations, having fun with her two kids, and being a member of Easter Lutheran Church. For 30 years, Lynnette worked as a pharmacist for HealthPartners and found meaningful work in helping patients.
Remaining to cherish Lynnette’s memory are her husband Vince, children Hannah and her partner Trevor and Nathan, parents David and Phyllis, brother Dan, in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Preceding Lynnette in death are her grandparents.
