Patricia (Lavigne) Carson

                                                                        Aug. 21, 1944 – Jan. 3, 2026

Oakdale - Patricia Ann (Lavigne) Carson of Oakdale, CT passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2026 due to complications related to pneumonia. She was born in Norwich, CT on August 21,1944 to George Lavigne and Lolita (Perry/Lavigne) Rosen

Patricia passed knowing how much she was dearly loved surrounded by her very large family who remained by her side with hearts breaking, sharing the love and comforting her as well as each other as she fought her battle to the very end.

Patricia married Robert Carson on July 31,1976 at the Old Mystic Methodist Church. Over the next 50 years she and Robert raised 3 children. Lisa (Brisson) Duca (spouse John), Michael Brisson (spouse Robin), and David Brisson (spouse Rachel). She was blessed with many grandchildren as well as great grandchildren. All of whom she loved dearly. All knew they meant the world to her and the feeling was mutual. She never missed being present at any event to show support. She is also survived by her brother Ronald Lavigne and family and Richard Lavigne (who predeceased her) and his family.

So many others may know her as the assistant always with a smile who dedicated 35 years of her life (rarely if ever, missing a day) at Family Orthodontic Care in Norwich, CT.

Forever in our hearts, so many cherished memories, never to be forgotten. She will be dearly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, January 12th at 10:00 am at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home, 11 Jerome Rd, Uncasville. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
