On January 3, 2026, Mrs. Joyce Zapisocki of Spedden passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years with her children and grandchildren by her side. She is survived by her sons, Ron (Leigh) Zapisocki; Casey (Natalie) Zapisocki and children, Tyler (Breanna), Dylan, and Alysha; her daughters, Roxanne Goodon and her children, Brennan, Brett, and Brooks; and Trish (Edward) Berry and their children, Robert (Linda), Brayden and Britney; her mother, Christine Katerenchuk; five brothers and three sisters, Donald (Sheila) Katerenchuk, Irene (Paul) Moldowan, Phyllis Moldowan, Michael (Judy) Katerenchuk, Lyle (Terry) Katerenchuk, Sheila (Dave) Maheu, Lorne (Colette) Katerenchuk and Ivan (Melanie) Katerenchuk; sister-in-law, Katherine Moscrip; brothers-in-law, Ed Zapisocki, Andrew (Irene) Zapisocki, Eugene (Grace) Zapisocki, and Walter (Ollie) Zapisocki; also numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband, Orest Zapisocki; her father, Nick Katerenchuk; sister, Charlotte Zapisocki; infant sister, Ramona-Lee; parents-in-law, Phillip and Mary Zapisocki; sister-in-law, Dorinda Katerenchuk; brothers-in-law, Leo Moldowan, Lloyd Moscrip; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Helen Krecul. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Gardens Funeral Chapel, St. Paul. Reverend Father Timothy Chrapko will be officiating with interment in Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, Spedden.
