Betty Jean Frost passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Bartlesville Assisted Living Center. She was 90 years old.
Betty was born October 25, 1935, in Tonkawa, OK. The daughter of Lloyd Amos and Letha Mae (Orcutt) Briggs. She graduated from Foraker High School with the Class of 1954. She and Ralph Frost were married January 9, 1959. Over the years, Betty worked several clerical jobs in Pawhuska. Later in life, she worked at Weigants Pharmacy until she retired. She enjoyed attending church at Calvary Baptist Church, where she assisted with teaching Sunday School. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed walking her dogs, working in her yard, feeding the birds and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving family includes her sons, Ralph Todd Frost and wife, Susan, and Steven Lee Frost and wife, Sammie, all of Pawhuska; grandkids Chelsie (Matt) Hall of Bixby; Tyler (Larisa) frost of Pawhuska; Chancey (Bobby) Tuttle of Nashville, TN; Lane (Whitanie) Frost of Pawhuska; and Charlsey (Chase) Sutton of Shidler. Great grandkids include Kyleigh, Gunner, GraceLin and Parker Hall; Liza Jane and Adaline Frost; Oakleigh and Holland Tuttle; and Paisley, Beau and Lainey Sutton. Betty is also survived by siblings Barbara Foster of Inola, and Lee Briggs and wife, Kathleen, of Foraker, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Letha Briggs.
Services will be held Thursday, January 8, 10:00AM, at the Calvary Baptist Church of Pawhuska. Pastor Dustin Baker and Pastor Artie Hudson will officiate. Interment will be in the Foraker Cemetery.
