Burchel George Anthony Villieres, age 58, was born in St. Mary, Jamaica, and passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and unforgettable presence. He was the beloved son of Phyllis Maud Goodwin and Harold Villieres, and a devoted husband to Shawna Villieres, with whom he shared 24 years of marriage.

Burchel was a proud and loving father to Cassidy, Niasia, Jordan, and Jasmin, and a cherished grandfather to Armani and Kavani, who brought him immense joy. He was also an amazing and funny uncle, whose humor, warmth, and presence brought laughter and joy to his nieces and nephews. In addition, he was a dear brother to Ancel, Harold, Susan, Avryl,Allison, Leonie, Carol, and Valerie, maintaining strong family bonds throughout his life.

For 25 years, Burchel dedicated himself to Petland Management, where he did something he loved and was deeply proud of—selling fish all over the world. It was a job that fascinated his family and spoke to his unique path and global reach. After his time with Petland, he continued to excel as a licensed electrician, known for his skill, reliability, and strong work ethic.

Burchel lived life loudly and joyfully. He was a passionate fan of the New York Jets and the New York Mets, cheering them on with unwavering loyalty. His love for reggae music filled the house—always played loud enough for everyone to hear. Weekends often found him in the kitchen, cooking meals that brought family together and turned ordinary days into memories.

Above all, Burchel was a man of presence—his laugh, his music, his love, and his spirit left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of his family and friends.
