Patricia “Pat” Brewster, 77 of King, NC, formerly of Dehue, WV, departed this life at home on January 3, 2026, in North Carolina.

She was born April 28, 1948, in Dehue, WV, the daughter of the late Eugene “Gene” Abbott and June Kinney Abbott.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her companion, Claude “Danny” Frye, brothers, Paul “Pumpkin” Abbott, Tommy Abbott, and Richard Abbott and two sisters, Debbie Caudill, and Freda Abbott.

Pat enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids, going to the gym, gardening, and raising chickens.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Marc Judy and his wife Tamera of Pinnacle, NC; two grandchildren, Nicholas Graham and his wife Kora of Siloam, NC, and Amber Judy of Pinnacle, NC; great grandchildren, Preston David Graham, Ellasyn Graham, Dalyla Graham and Atreus Judy; sisters, Sandy Harrison and Diane Baisden; brother, Billy Abbott.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the St. Jude's Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, or to the dementia foundation.

Services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home with Donnie Wells officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Old Logan Road, Chapmanville, WV.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
