Gordon T. Weston, Sr. Obituary

Gordon T Weston Sr left his earthly home to join his wife Micheal in Heaven on January 3rd, 2026. Gordon was born to Chester and Phyllis Weston in Barre, Vermont on August 10, 1938 and grew up in the Port Henry, NY area were both he and Micheal were members of the Drum and Bugle Corp. He joined the the United States Navy in August 1955. He married Micheal the love of his life on June 30, 1956. He served 20 years in the Navy retiring November 25, 1974. While in the Navy he served 10 years as an investigator and 10 years at sea. He served during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Bay of Pigs. He founded and operated Weston Exterminating in 1972 and Gordon's Pest Control in 2002. He operated valet for cruise ships for VIMT for 32 years. He retired from the Girls Club (United Way). He was a member of Branch 60 Fleet Reserve Ocean View, American Legion Post 327 Tidewater Dr, Knights of Columbus Council 367 and Disabled American Vets Chapter 20. He loved his family and coached baseball and basketball at the Boys Club and Little League for his sons and their friends.


Gordon was pre deceased by his wife Micheal, his parents Chester and Phyllis Weston, brothers Raymond and Michael Weston and daughter-in-law Pearl Weston. He is survived by his daughter Brenda Smith of Morehead City, NC, son Thomas Weston of Moyock, NC, son Paul Weston (Ashlynn) of Virginia Beach and son Gordon Weston Jr (Terrie) of Chesapeake. He is survived by eight grandchildren Micheal (Jason), Brandon (Erica), Nicole (Mike), Tommy (Brittany), Robert, Brittany (David), Gordon III (Marissa) and Natalie. Ten great grandchildren-Emily, Jack, Trevor, Jesse, Thomas, Michael, Decklan, Bailey, Skylar and MacKenzie).


The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Dr Chapel on Thursday, January 8th from 6 to 8pm. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 9th at 11am with intermtent to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
