Elva Magdalene Caskey, 99, of Grayson, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 3, 2026, surrounded by her family at UK Kings Daughter Medical Center. Elva was born May 23, 1926, in Carter County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Mary Barker Eldridge. She was a homemaker and a member of Barretts Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Caskey; son, Roy Franklin Caskey, sisters, Vinnie Maxie, Opal Sagraves and Roberta Porter, brothers, June Eldridge, John Eldridge and Ben Eldridge. She is survived by sons, Chester Caskey, Ricky Caskey and Frankie Caskey all of Grayson, daughters, Opal Brown, Bonnie Caskey, Dorothy Adkins and Mary Mae Harlow all of Grayson, Bernice Cantrell of London, Ohio, and Roberta Cantrell of Plain City, OH, brother, Edgar Eldridge of Grayson, 19 grandchildren, 50+ great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Riffe, minister. Burial will be in the Kemper Family Cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Serving as pallbearers will be Homer Caskey, Bradley Adkins, Gary Caskey, Roy Caskey, Jr., Logan Stambaugh, Greg Stambaugh, Zach Cantrell and Darrell Eldridge.
