The earthly journey of Margaret Elizabeth Tumblin Sherman ended on Saturday, January 3, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with her health issues. She was born on January 9, 1937, in Domino, Texas to the union of Mahalia Tumblin and Louis Tumblin.

Margaret accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, uniting with New Hope Baptist Church. Margaret was a devoted and active member at Greater New Hope Baptist Church. She served faithfully as an usher for over thirty years and in the position of president for many years. 

She was employed at Lone Star Army Ammunition Plant for many years before retiring.

In 1994, Margaret married Lovell Sherman. Margaret found joy through hosting parties and family gatherings. Her family was her inspiration.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Mahalia Tumblin and Lousi Tumblin; one daughter, Carol Wingfield; and her husband, Lovell Sherman. She leaves to cherish her memories:
