Our hearts are broken by the unexpected passing of Domenico Bellisario, on Saturday, January 3, 2026, age 74, of Pittsburgh. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Giuseppina Sciulli who passed away twenty years ago. Domenico was a devoted father to and is survived by his son, Alfonso. Beloved son of the late Alfonso and Elisa. He was a loving brother to the late Giuseppe (the late Ida) and to Antonio (Gilda), Lina (Antonio) Pollice, Celestino, and Carolina (the late Donato) Bucci. Son-in-law to the late Carloantonio and Amalia Sciulli; brother-in-law to Henry (the late Colleen) Sciulli and Dr. Bruno (Carla) Sciulli. He is also survived by many cherished nieces, nephews and close friends, all of whom will remember him with love and fond memories. Domenico was a loyal member of the San Lorenzo Club of Oakland, San Antonio Piano D’Ischia (Gamberale), and South Hills Italian Club (Bocce Club). He will be remembered for his dedication to family, his strength, and the lasting impact he had on those who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Family and friends are welcomed at the John N. Elachko Funeral Home, 3447 Dawson St. Pittsburgh. PA 15213, Thursday, January 8, from 2:00pm until 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 9, at 10:00am at St. Paul Cathedral. Entombment immediately following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
