Patricia Ann Handy, age 81, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. She was born November 24, 1944, in Wilkes County to Quincy David and Carrie Beatrice Stone Foster. Mrs. Handy was a member of Baptist Home Baptist Church and a former secretary for the N.C. Department of Corrections Adult Probation and Parole. She was the first full time secretary at Baptist Home Baptist Church, and the first full time secretary of the Stone Mountain Baptist Association. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Marlene Foster and Betty Huffman; and brother, Lee Foster.
Patricia is survived by her spouse, Carl Handy; daughter, Carla Reavis and spouse Ervin of North Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Gage Reavis (Kerston Denny), Connor Reavis (Cloey White), Mackenzie Reavis (Shane Barrett) all of North Wilkesboro; brothers, Charles Foster and Clyde Foster both of North Wilkesboro; sister, Nancy Pardue of North Wilkesboro; special niece, Vickie Miller of North Wilkesboro; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in law.
A private graveside service will be held. The family has requested no food and no flowers.
