Luther N. Griggs, age 84 of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2025. He was born March 8, 1941, in East Liverpool, Ohio. He loved the Lord and found great joy in singing worship songs. His faith guided his life, and he cherished the many special friends he made along the way, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Luther was an electrician and general contractor by trade and took great pride in his work. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and willingness to help others whenever needed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Miller, Sr.; his mother, Gladys Aileen Miller; and his siblings, Thomas Miller, Jr. and Annie A. Kreuter.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Wanda Griggs; daughters, Amy and Nicole; step son, Billy Bennett; siblings, Brenda (Karl) Henry, Sherman (Marcia) Griggs, and Franklin (Sondra) Griggs; special friend, Marcellus Scott; along with extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

His family will receive friends 4PM-8PM, CST, Wednesday, January 7, 2025.

Funeral Service 2PM, CST, Thursday, January 8, 2025, in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Louallen officiating. Interment to follow at White Cemetery.
