Peggy Marie Bledsoe, 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at her home in St. Charles, Virginia.
Peggy was born on December 4, 1947 to the late Charles and Bernice Taylor.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Bledsoe Sr.; brothers, Jimmy Taylor, Charles Dickey Taylor, and Bob Dingus; sisters, Doris Sue Bledsoe, Mary Ruth Anders, and Kathy Maples; mother in law, Pearl Bledsoe.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Earnest Willard Bledsoe Jr. (Vanessa) and Michael Jason Bledsoe (Heather); daughter, Tammy Denice Bledsoe; brother, Jerry Taylor; grand children, Riley, Katie, Cassie, Nick, Evan, Alex, and Bella; great grand children, Niko, Audrey, and Charlie; special sister in law, Brenda Lister; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Pennington Gap Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Steve Neff officiating.
A committal service will follow at Odd Fellows cemetery in Woodway, Virginia.
