LACONIA ---- Nancy J. Crutcher, 91, of Charlevoix Place, passed away at her home on Saturday, January 3, 2025.
Nancy was born on November 8, 1934, in Laconia, the daughter of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Clairmont) Cotton.
She became a nurse in 1955, when she was married to Dr. Robert Mooney, DMD. She moved to Illinois in 1974. She started out as a nurse, but then worked hard to then become Director of Nursing, then on to administrator and finally to Chief of Operations for Health and Home Management, a six nursing home corporation.
Nancy is survived by her sons John Mooney and Sean Mooney, daughter Natalie, adopted children Michael Mooney and Michelle Smith and her first husband Dr. Robert Mooney. In addition to her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her second husband Dallas Crutcher.
Services will be held in the spring.
